Beef Picadillo Dip Recipe
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 3/4 c. minced pimento
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 can (4 ounce.) mushrooms, liquid removed and minced
- 1 can (10 ounce.) RoTel tomatoes and green chilies
- 1 pound Velveeta, cubed
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 3/4 c. slivered toasted almonds
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 can (4 ounce.) minced ripe olives
- 1 c. golden brown raisins, optional
- Brown grnd beef, drain grease.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer covered 2 hrs.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
- Note: Recipe can be doubled and extra frzn for later use.
