Hyuga-meshi Rice Dish
- 2 servings Sea bream sashimi
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Finely sliced green onion
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 2 servings Plain cooked rice
- Cut the sashimi into easy to eat sizes.
- Marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, sake, and mirin for 30 minutes (mix occasionally to marinate evenly).
- After 30 minutes, add a beaten egg, mix, and let rest.
- Add finely sliced green onion (leave some to sprinkle on top) and the white sesame seeds, and mix.
- Pour everything from step 3 including the sauce over piping hot rice, sprinkle chopped green onions, and serve.
