Unstuffed Pepper Bake
- 1 cup Uncooked Rice
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 2 Green Peppers Diced
- 1/2 White Onion, Diced
- 1 jar (26 Oz. Size) Marinara Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cups Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare rice according to package directions.
- In a large skillet, add ground beef, green peppers, and onion.
- Cook over medium heat until beef is no longer pink.
- Drain mixture and return to skillet.
- Add in rice, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and cheese.
- Spoon mixture into a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and olive oil.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs over top of ground beef mixture.
- Bake for 810 minutes, or until heated through and bread crumbs are golden.
- Remove from oven.
- Serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
