Pears in Chocolate Cinnamon Syrup
- 4 cups water
- 12 cup sugar
- 14 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons syrup
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 pears, peeled and cored
- Stir water, sugar, cocoa, syrup and cinnamon sticks in large saucepan over heat until sugar dissolves.
- Bring to boil.
- Add pears and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.
- Remove pears.
- Boil syrup until reduced.
- Serve pears with syrup and ice-cream.
