Stuffed French Toast

  1. Cut a pocket in the crust of each slice of bread.
  2. Butter the inside of pocket.
  3. Cut sausage into bite sized pieces.
  4. Toss with cheese.
  5. Stuff into pockets.
  6. In a shallow bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon.
  7. dip both sides of bread.
  8. Cook on a greased hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
