Steamed Fudge Pudding

  1. Melt chocolate pieces in double boiler.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and the melted chocolate.
  3. Stir in bread cubes and nuts Turn chocolate mixture into an ungreased 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
  4. Place the filled baking dish into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish set on oven rack.
  5. Pour boiling water into the large pan around the smaller dish to depth of 1-inch, being careful not to spill any water into the chocolate.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 60 to 65 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
  7. Serve pudding warm.
  8. Cut into squares.
  9. Top with whipped cream if desired.
  10. Makes 8 servings.
