Apple Ricotta Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix flour, brown sugar and 1/2 tsp.
  3. of the cinnamon in medium bowl.
  4. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
  5. Beat cake mix, ricotta cheese, eggs, water, oil and remaining 1 tsp.
  6. cinnamon in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened.
  7. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes.
  8. Pour into greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan.
  9. Top with apples; sprinkle with the crumb mixture.
  10. Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Cool completely on wire rack.
