Iowa Corn Casserole
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can mushrooms, undrained
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can tomatoes with chilies
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can ripe olives, drained
- 1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, drained
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed and mustard (dry)
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. cooked wide noodles
- In a large skillet, cook beef with green pepper and onion until meat is brown and vegetables tender.
- Drain.
- Add rest of ingredients and mix with cooked noodles.
- Pour into a large casserole.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 50 minutes.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese and return to oven for 10 minutes to melt.
