- 2 pkg. udon noodles (Hula brand)
- 10 pieces dried mushrooms
- 6 skinless boneless chicken thighs
- 1/2 lb. large size shrimp, deveined
- 1 1/2 lb. pork, sliced
- 1 can chicken broth
- 2 c. green onions, sliced about 3/4-inch
- 5 cloves garlic
- patis
- Soak mushroomstn
- water;
- cut
- into strips when soft. Cut pork and
- chicken
- into
- pieces (chop suey pieces).
- Slice shrimp into thirds.
- To about 4 quarts of boiling water, add a dash of salt
- and
- a
- teaspoon of vegetable oil.
- Add noodles; cook until done,
- stirring
- at
- leasttvery 5 minutes so they don't stick to pot.
- Rinse
- noodles under cold water;
- drain. Brown pork with garlic
- int wok.then liquid from meat has evaporated, brown meat
- in
- its
- oiltor
- half a minute.
- Add dried mushrooms and 4
- tablespoons
- of patis and stir.tdd a little water;
- simmer until liquid evaporates again.
