Cheeseburger Casserole...aka Mock Hamburger Helper
- 16 ounces, weight Package French Fries, I Used The Crinkle Cut
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1/2 whole Onion, Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic - About 2 Cloves
- 1 cube Beef Bouillon
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 cups Sour Cream, Light
- 2 cans (10 Oz. Size) Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup (I Used Low Sodium)
- 3 slices American Cheese, Diced
- 2 cups Baby Spinach, Diced
- 2 cups Cooked Small Pasta - Cooked According To Package Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions until almost done about 5-10 minutes before totally done.
- Then remove from oven and set aside.
- While the fries are baking, start browning the ground beef, onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add in the diced bouillon cube, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and cayenne.
- Taste add in whatever makes you happy salt, pepper, minced onion, hamburger seasoning how ever you make your burgers.
- Continue cooking until beef is browned.
- Drain off grease.
- In a large bowl mix together the sour cream, soup, American cheese, spinach and cooked pasta.
- Add the drained beef mixture to the sour cream mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour into a 13x9 pan.
- Arrange the French fries on top, return to oven to finish cooking French fries (for the remaining 5-10 minutes at the temperature specified on the package or cook until fries are to your liking).
