Low Fat (But Still Yummous!) Hummus
- 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Garbanzo Beans
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Tahini
- 1/2 cups Yogurt - Non Fat
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Cumin Powder
- Drain and save the liquid from one can of garbanzo beans.
- Place the garbanzos, tahini, yogurt, garlic and lemon juice in a blender and blend well, adding liquid from the beans one teaspoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Add salt and cumin.
- Blend again until thoroughly smooth and creamy.
- Adjust seasonings.
- Refrigerate until well chilled.
- Sprinkle with paprika and serve with pita chips or chopped vegetables for a glorious dip.
