The ' Can't-Go-Wrong' Yorkshire Pudding
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup milk, and water mixed
- 1 cup egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for greasing baking tin
- Pour oil into tin so that the bottom is just covered.
- Pre-heat oven to about 220 and place tin in for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, Beat eggs in a mixing bowl, add flour, salt and half the milk/water and beat well.
- Add remaining milk/water and vinegar and beat again.
- Your mixture should be a little bubbly -- this is good.
- Pour mixture into tin till about half way up the side and place back in oven for 25 mins or until golden on top.
