My Family's Easy Hand-Rolled Sushi with Inexpensive Fillings

  1. If using beef, lightly sprinkle with sugar and brown in a frying pan.
  2. Then add sake and soy sauce, and continue frying until cooked through.
  3. If using pork, sprinkle with salt and pepper and leave to rest for a bit.
  4. Mince some garlic and fry over low heat.
  5. Add the pork and when cooked, add some soy sauce to season.
  6. In order from top to bottom: Cheese, shiso leaves, and salmon.
