Navy Beans!
- 8 oz navy beans, about 1 1/4 cups
- 4 cup water
- 12 oz bacon ends and pieces
- 1/2 each onion, chopped
- Put beans and water in pressure cooker and cook for 45 min.
- or until done.
- Fresh beans cook faster than old ones.
- Cook your bacon and add to the beans.
- Save the grease!
- Add the bacon and seasonings to the beans and simmer for 20 minutes.
- (might have to add a bit of water)
- Best the next day.
- (beano isn't a bad idea )
