Vanilla-Almond Fruit Tart

  1. Reserve 1 tablespoon nuts.
  2. Finely chop remaining nuts; mix with wafer crumbs and butter.
  3. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch tart pan or shallow pie plate.
  4. Beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in Cool Whip.
  6. Spoon into crust.
  7. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  8. Top with fruit and reserved nuts just before serving.Variation: For stronger almond flavor, stir 1/4 teaspoon almond extract into pudding mixture before spooning into crust.Each serving provides: 0.5g trans fat, 6%DV vitamin A, 10%DV vitamin C, 6%DV calcium, 4%DV iron.
