Anise Hyssop Sauce For Roast Lamb Recipe

  1. In a small saucepan combine sugar, vinegar and water.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add in minced anise hyssop leaves and bring to a boil.
  4. Turn off heat and let steep for 1/2 hour.
  5. Pour through a sieve, pressing solids to extract all the liquid.
  6. Serve with roast lamb or possibly veal.
