Hamburger Pie
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (with liquid)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 c. water
- 2 c. biscuit mix
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. flour, mixed with a little bouillon
- Brown the onions and meat in butter.
- Add mushrooms, salt, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon and flour.
- Blend well.
- Bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes.
- Pour into buttered casserole dish. Combine milk and biscuit mix.
- Spoon over meat mixture.
- Bake at 425u0b0 for 25 minutes, uncovered.
- Spread sour cream on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes. Serves 6.
