Apple Bean Bake Recipe

• 1 x 48 Oz Jar Great Northern beans liquid removed
• 4 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
• 3 c. tart cooking apples peeled, cubed
• 1/2 c. minced onion
• 3/4 c. light brown sugar
• 1/2 c. catsup
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp salt or possibly to taste

1. Heat butter in a large skillet.
2. Add in apples and onions.
3. Cook for 10 min or possibly till apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
4. Add in brown sugar and stir till dissolved.
5. Blend in catsup, cinnamon and salt.
6. Place beans in 2 qt casserole.
7. Pour apple mix over beans and mix well.
8. Bake in a preheated 375F oven for 1 hour.
