Chicken in Green masala.

  1. Make a fine paste of the following ingredients.
  2. This is the green paste.
  3. Heat oil, add the spices
  4. Add the onion paste.
  5. Stir well, till the onion paste become golden brown.
  6. Keep adding water if it sticks to the base.
  7. Then add the giner garlic paste and stir well till it blends with the onion paste.
  8. Add salt as per taste.
  9. Add the green paste to the pot and stir well.
  10. Add the vinegar, stir well then add the grounded coriander and cumin seeds powder.
  11. Keep stirring and keep adding water as it sticks to the base, add water in small quantities.
  12. (10 to 20 ml).
  13. Cook on medium flames.
  14. Till you see the oil getting separated from the paste on the sides of the pot.
  15. Now add the chicken to it and stir well.
  16. After stirring for some 5 minutes add a little water to make it a thick gravy, cover the pot and leave it on low flame till chicken gets cooked.
  17. Keep checking and stirring in short intervals.
  18. Garnish it with a few finely chopped coriander leafs.
