Roasted Pepper and Maple Barbecue Sauce

  1. Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth, then simmer in a small heavy saucepan, stirring occasionally, until reduced to about 3/4 cup, 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Serve with shrimp or chicken.
