Bisquick Sherbet Shortcakes Recipe
- 2 1/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted
- Sherbet
- 3 c. mixed fresh fruit or possibly 2 Packages quick-thaw mixed fruit, thawed
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Mix baking mix, lowfat milk, sugar, and butter till soft dough forms.
- Spread in ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.
- Bake till golden, 15 to 20 min.
- Cold.
- Cut into 6 equal pcs.
- Split shortcakes; spoon sherbet between each.
- Top with fruit.
- Garnish with whipped cream if you like.
- 6 servings.
