Alexander Wright's Carrots And Peas Recipe
- 5 x carrots, diced
- 1 can sweet peas
- 1 tsp butter or possibly margarine
- 1 sm onion
- 2 x bay leaves parsley flakes
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar pepper, to taste
- Add in all ingredients, EXCEPT PEAS.
- Cook till boiling; reduce heat to medium-low.
- Cook for 35 min, or possibly till tender.
- Drain and rinse peas
- (optional to rinse), and add in to carrots.
- Let cook for 15 min on medium-low heat.
- Makes 4 servings.
