Moroccan Sweet Rice with Cinnamon
- 113 cups rice regular, uncooked
- 223 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground, or to taste
- Combine rice, water and salt to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring once or twice.
- Reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 14 minutes.
- Do not lift cover or stir.
- Remove from heat.
- Fluff rice lightly with fork.
- Cover and let steam 5 to 10 minutes.
- Stir in margarine and powdered sugar.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Serve warm.
