Apple Strudel

  1. Whisk cheese with water until smooth; set aside.
  2. On a nonstick cookie sheet, place 2 sheets of phyllo.
  3. Brush top sheet lightly with melted butter.
  4. Place 2 more sheets over first two; butter top sheet.
  5. Repeat with last 2 sheets; then sprinkle buttered top sheet with cornflake crumbs.
  6. With a spatula, spread 3-inch wide band of cheese along one long side of phyllo, leaving 1/2 to 3/4 inch margin around edges.
  7. Spread jam over cheese mixture.
