One-Rise Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 3 to 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. warm water
- Mix whipping cream and brown sugar in ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, 1/4 cup sugar, salt, warm water, 2 tablespoons butter and egg in mixer bowl.
- Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
- Stir in remaining flour.
- Knead for 1 minute.
- Roll into 7 x 15-inch rectangle on floured surface. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and 1/4 cup butter in bowl.
- Spread over dough.
- Roll tightly; seal.
- Cut into 20 pieces.
- Place cut side down on brown sugar mixture in prepared pan.
- Let rise, covered, for 45 to 60 minutes, or until doubled in bulk.
- Bake at 400u0b0
- for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
- Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
- Invert onto serving tray.
