Crostini con San Marco/ Crostini with Capers and Mozzarella

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F.
  2. Cut the slices of bread in half.
  3. Place the Mozzarella and 1/2 an anchovy fillet on each piece of bread.
  4. Sprinkle some of the chopped cappers on top of the crostini and top with a tomato slice.
  5. Bake until the cheese is melted and the bread is lightly toasted.
  6. Garnish with the basil.
