Corn Pie With Meat Crust
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 3/4 lb. chopped meat
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- green pepper rings
- Combine egg, milk, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion and crumbs.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Add ground meat and mix well.
- Pack firmly on a 9-inch pie plate. Hold in place with another plate.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 7 minutes.
- Remove top plate and bake 3 minutes longer.
