Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Beat first 3 ingredients until creamy.
  2. Beat in water, egg and vanilla.
  3. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well.
  4. Cover, chill about 2 hours.
  5. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  6. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with tines of fork dipped in granulated sugar to form crisscross pattern.
  8. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Store tightly covered. Makes about 7 dozen.
