Pineapple Crumble
- 16 ounces pineapple canned, unsweetened, crushed, drained
- 2 medium pears peeled, cored and diced
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 23 cup matzo meal
- 13 cup walnuts ground
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, light
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and pat into a 9-inch square baking pan.
- Melt margarine in a skillet and remove from heat.
- Stir in the remaining topping ingredients until evenly coated with the margarine.
- Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
