Spaghetti Sauce
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium jar Ragu sauce (any flavor)
- Italian seasoning
- oregano
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- A. 1. steak sauce
- 1 pkg. Lawry's spaghetti mix
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 small can tomato paste (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
- Mix meat, onion, bell pepper,
- salt
- and
- pepper
- in
- a large pot.
- (If you like meatballs, you
- can
- roll
- a few into balls and bake in the oven.) Brown
- meat;
- pour off fat.
- Pour in Ragu sauce, Lawry's spaghetti
- mix,
- steak
- sauce,
- garlic, water, Italian seasoning and oregano.
- Let
- your
- taste
- buds rule how much seasonings to use.
- If
- saucets too thick, add more water. If too thin, add a little more tomato paste.
- Let simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Cool and put in the refrigerator until the next day. Serve with cooked spaghetti.
