Arroz Azafranado-Saffron Rice Spain

  1. Place oil in saucepan; cook meat in hot oil.
  2. Add onion, pepper, salt, tomatoes, green pepper and garlic and reduce heat.
  3. to medium temperature.
  4. After vegetables appear tender crisp, add salt, rice and a little water as needed.
  5. Simmer until rice is cooked, remembering to add saffron and stir occasionally while cooking.
  6. Serve with 1/2 lemon per person to squeeze over each serving.
