Butter Bean Custard Pie Recipe

  2. Soak the beans in the water overnight.
  3. The next morning, take the hull off beans.
  4. Cook till well done in water.
  5. Don't add in seasoning.
  6. Drain; mash beans.

  8. Add in sugar, flour, butter, vanilla, Large eggs and salt.
  9. Mix well.

  11. Add in cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and cream.
  12. Blend together.
  13. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell.
  14. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 45 min.
  15. Makes 1 - 9 inch pie
  16. A great bean pie!
