Lemon Meringue Martini

• 1 lemon wedge
• Granulated sugar
• Ice
• 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
• 1 1/2 ounces Cointreau or other triple sec
• 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juIce
• 1/4 ounce simple syrup
• 1/4 ounce heavy cream

1. Moisten the outer rim of a martini glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with granulated sugar.
2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vanilla vodka, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and heavy cream.
3. Shake well and strain into the prepared martini glass.
