Baked Ziti Recipe
- 16 ounce Ziti, uncooked
- 28 ounce Spaghetti sauce, divided
- 16 ounce Ricotta
- 8 ounce Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. Minced fresh parsley
- 1 x Egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Dry oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Grnd black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan cheese
- Heat oven to 375 F. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Stir together warm pasta; 1-1/2 c spaghetti sauce; ricotta cheese; mozzarella cheese; parsley; egg; salt; oregano; garlic pwdr and pepper in large bowl.
- Pour 1/2 c spaghetti sauce in bottom of 3-qt casserole; spread pasta mix proportionately over sauce.
- Top with remaining 1-1/2 c sauce; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover; bake 30 to 35 min or possibly till warm and bubbly.
- 8 servings.
- Prep Time: 15 minutes.
- Start to Finish: 1 Hr.
- 10 minutes.
