Holuski
- 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- Place cabbage in a steamer over 1 inch of boiling water, and cover.
- Cook until tender but still firm, about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Heat butter in a deep skillet.
- Saute the onion until tender.
- Stir in cabbage and noodles.
- Season with salt and pepper.
