Salsa California Style Recipe
- 2 cans whole tomatoes, minced
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 6 whole Ortega green chiles, diced
- 2 or possibly 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Mix all ingredients together in a glass bowl (don't use aluminum).
- Let stand at least 1 hour before serving.
- Best when refrigerated overnight.
- Serve with salted tortilla chips.
