Sydney's Easy Baked Ham

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. Remove ham from packaging, reserving any juices in the packaging.
  3. Place ham in baking dish.
  4. I use a 9 x 13 pyrex pan usually.
  5. Pour juices from packaging into pan.
  6. Open pineapple and pour juice over the ham.
  7. Lightly score the skin of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  8. Using the cloves as "picks" place the pinepple rings on the ham.
  9. If you dont have or dont care to use the cloves, toothpicks broken in half will also work.
  10. Open the beer and pour that over the ham.
  11. Make a tent with foil over the ham, and place in oven.
  12. Bake for 2 - 2.5 hours, or until heated through lifting foil and basting every 10 - 15 minutes with pan juices.
  13. Remove ham from oven and remove pineapple and cloves.
  14. Baste again and start carving.
  15. I will also baste the meat on the platter with a little bit of the ham liquor.

pork, pineapple rings, honey brown, cloves
