Minted Iced Tea
- 1 quart hot boiled water
- 14 cup tea leaves
- 5 sprigs mint, bruised with a spoon
- 1 quart cold water
- Remove the boiling water from heat add tea leaves and the mint.
- let stand uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Pour 1 quart cold water into a 2 quart picher, Strain the mint tea mixture into the cold water in the pitcher.
- Do not refrigerate.
- When you want to serve pour over ice into frosted glasses and decorate with a sprig of mint.
