Inside-Out Caramel-Dipped Apples

  1. Cut apples lengthwise in half.
  2. Use melon baller to remove inside of each apple, leaving 3/4-inch-thick shell.
  3. Brush cut sides of apples with lemon juice.
  4. Microwave caramels and water in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 min.
  5. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after each minute.
  6. Cool 5 min.
  7. Use paper towel to blot moisture from insides of apples; fill with caramel sauce.
  8. Refrigerate 30 min.
  9. or until caramel filling is firm.
  10. Cut into wedges to serve.
