Fajitas
- 14 cup molasses
- 14 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 12 teaspoon oregano leaves
- 12 cup onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb boneless top round beef or 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- refried beans
- chopped tomato
- shredded lettuce
- chopped avocado
- salsa
- sour cream
- 10 (8 -10 inch) flour tortillas, softened
- In medium bowl, combine molasses, oil, lime juice, chili powder, oregano leaves, chopped onion and minced garlic, mix well.
- Add steak; stir to coat.
- Cover; marinate 4-6 hours or overnight, stir occasionally.
- In large skillet, stir-fry meat mixture 5 minutes or until brown.
- To serve place meat on center of each tortilla; top with cheese, refried beans, tomatoes, lettuce , avocado and salsa.
- Roll up envelope fashion.
- Serve with sour cream.
