Fruity Corned Beef and Cabbage
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 (2 1/2-3 1/2 lb) corned beef brisket
- 1 cup apple juice
- 14 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded orange peel
- 6 whole cloves
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 6 cabbage, wedges
- Place onions in slow cooker, then place beef on top of onions.
- Combine apple juice, brown sugar, orange peel, cloves, and mustard, and pour over meat.
- Place cabbage on top.
- Cover, cook on low for 10-12 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours.
