McSurley Cracker Cookies

  1. Line cookie pan (jellyroll pan) with aluminium foil.
  2. Lay out crackers in pan.
  3. Bring sugar and butter to boil, cooking until sugar disolves.
  4. Pour sugar mixture over crackers.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees (200 C.) for 6 or 7 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, and sprinkle chips over the top.
  7. Spread when melted.
  8. Chill for 30 minutes.
  9. Break apart to serve.
