Lasagne - Short Cut Style
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can (1 c.) seasoned tomato sauce
- 1 or 2 envelopes dry spaghetti sauce mix
- 2 cloves garlic
- 8 oz. pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 wide lasagne noodles
- Brown meat.
- Add next 4 ingredients.
- Cover and simmer 40 minutes.
- Salt to taste.
- Cook noodles in boiling salted water. Drain and rinse.
- Place 1/3 noodles in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Cover with 1/3 sauce; add 1/3 Mozzarella and 1/3 cottage cheese.
- Repeat layers twice and top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let stand 15 minutes to cool and set.
- Cut in squares.
