Aloha Chicken Recipe
- 2 x skinless, boneless chicken breast halves cut into bite size pcs
- 1 tsp grnd ginger
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp. onion pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 x (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- 2 Arrange chicken pcs in a single layer in a well greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl mix together the ginger, paprika, onion pwdr and garlic salt.
- Add in the vinegar and mix well.
- Divide this mix.
- Brush 1/2 over the chicken pcs and bake in the preheated oven for 15 min.
- 3 Turn the chicken pcs, baste with the remaining 1/2 of the vinegar mix and bake for 15 min longer.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl combine the ketchup, soy sauce, pineapple and brown sugar.
- When chicken baking time is up, spoon the pineapple/soy mix over the chicken.
- Bake for another 30 min.
- Serve while still warm.
