Beef And Broccoli Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and well drained
- 4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 (9-inch) pie shells
- Brown beef and onion; drain well. Stir in flour, salt and garlic salt.
- Add milk and cream cheese. Cook and stir until smooth and bubbly. Add a small amount of this mixture to the beaten egg; return this to the beef mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened (1 to 2 minutes).
- Stir in cooked broccoli.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Slice cheese and arrange atop the mixture. Cover with second pie shell and seal edges.
- Make slits in top.
- Brush with a little milk.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
