Pasta with Broccoli Rabe

  1. Cook the broccoli rabe in lightly salted water until just tender.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Squeeze excess water out by hand.
  4. In a large frying pan, melt the butter in the olive oil and saute garlic for 1 to 2 min.
  5. Coarsly chop the broccoli rabe and add it to the pan.
  6. Saute about 5 min.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. (I like a lot of freshly ground pepper).
  9. Add the cooked hot pasta to the pan and toss well.
  10. Pour into serving dish and top with grated cheese.
  11. Serve hot.
