Apple Cake

  1. Beat whites of eggs until stiff; add 6 tablespoons of the measured sugar and continue beating until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Put whites in refrigerator until balance of cake is mixed.
  3. Cream butter until soft.
  4. Add sugar a little at a time until well creamed.
  5. Then add 2 of the yellows at a time, beating well after each addition.
