Oyster Stuffing
- 4 cups stale breadcrumbs
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 14 cup finely diced onion
- 14 cup finely diced celery
- 3 teaspoons butter
- 1 cup drained, chopped oyster
- chicken stock or water
- In a large pot melt butter over medium heat.
- Add all ingredients except bread and saute for 10 minutes.
- Add bread crumbs and begin to toss with a fork, slowly adding liquid of choice until stuffing is just moist but not soggy.
- Stuff the bird.
