Quick Dessert Apple Muffins

• 1 each butter stick
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 6 each english muffins
• 20 ounces apples, granny smith can, sliced, drained

1. In a small mixing bowl cream butter, sugar and cinnamon together.
2. Split english muffins and toast until lightly browned.
3. Spread each muffin half with the butter-sugar mixture.
4. Mix remaining butter-sugar mixture with drained, sliced pie apples and distribute over muffins.
5. Broil 4 minutes to heat apples and melt butter mixture.
