Easy Snacks Mitarashi Potato Mochi

  1. Boil, drain and mash the potatoes.
  2. Mix in the katakuriko.
  3. Roll into slightly flat ovals ( I made 16 bite-sized pieces).
  4. Grease a frying pan with margarine and cook the potato bites.
  5. When the katakuriko has browned, flip over, cover with a lid and steam.
  6. Mix all of the ingredients marked with together to make the sauce, pour over the bites and toss to finish.
